This week, I was given some GREAT news. This is some news that I have been praying for for a while now. It came so fast that I am still actually questioning if it's really true! I just continue to keep thanking God for this! With the great news for my professional life, I am still battling something in my personal life. I decided to talk to one of my close friends about it and this particular friend happens to be a dude. A married guy that is AWESOME with advice because he has a way of looking at the problem from both sides. Well in speaking to him about my issue, he gave me some adivce that I couldn't help but to take. He told me to give it time, put a dead line on it and then let it be. At first, I didn't think it would work. But, after thinking about it, and researching quitting bad habits, I saw that it would be the best method. So! I gave myself 3 deadline dates! - Let's not judge, lol, I know some people (like myself) we have to had 3 alarms in the morning to get out of the bed- So with my three deadline dates I gave myself expectations. The first day - the expectation was to make sure I said how I feel. I would have to be open as much as possible. The seond day - A day to ask questions, allow them to say how they fell, better yet, show me. The third day - I would let it be. However it goes from there it will be.

After promising these things to myself I let it go. I wrote these things down as I usually do in order to hold myself accountable. This way, when the time comes, I have something to look to as to why it is important. During these days, I have things planned that will (for the most part) keep my mind off of the situation. That will allow me to not over think the situation and make it worse in the process.

With all of the changes coming, some wanted more than others, I also decided to change the name/format of this blog. While initially I was set on the name Say It's So for SO many reasons, I felt I wasn't completely telling all of my truth for the sake of saving face and not wanting to be embarrassed. But through some recent conversations, and feeling over whelmed by some new music I've been listening to, I feel it would be best for me to share it all. So! with that, I am scraching the original plan and changing gears! Hang on for the ride! :)
