It’s my BirthYAY!!!

On January 16th, some years ago, I arrived in this world. I’m sure it was a special day for my mom because I mean hey, look at me! lol but seriously, it was a magical day. My conception was very intentional. My mom went back to my dad after leaving him just to get pregnant again with me ... and it worked! She ended up leaving again after the mission was complete and the rest is history. Because it’s my birthday, I was inspired by my friend and fellow blogger Alexis to do a post about me so you all can know me a little better! Here is the link to her post on 10 things about her CLICK HERE In honor of my birthday being on the 16th, I’m going to share 16 things about me! Take a look below! 1- it’s my birthday today! Lol! Simple but true! I’m a proud Capricorn. I like to believe I have many of the great and a few of the bad qualities of a Capricorn. I’m very head strong, very loving, ambitious, and patient. Today is also the great singer Aaliyah’s birthday. I love her! 2- I just adopted a puppy! I mean JUST! I’ve been wanting a puppy for a while & so have my kids. When we got the house I told them to give me some time and we’d get another one and the time just felt right. We’re supposed to be getting him today if weather permits 🤞🏽 3- I’m the youngest of three. My dad has three kids (2 by my mom and 1 before my mom) and I’m the youngest. I would post a picture but sadly we don’t have one together 😕 but we all have some similar features so my dad made a mark on us. 4- I’m addicted to Netflix. When I tell y’all I can sit and watch Netflix all day! Lately I’ve been binge watching the same shows lol. Between The Office and Friends, I’m watching one of them. Truthfully, at night, I may be playing The Office on my TV and watching Friends on my phone lol 5- my favorite colors are pink, purple, and gold. So yea, I’m the girly girl who loves anything and everything pink! I’ve been in love with pink for so long! It just makes me happy. 😊 6- I love Love LOVE flowers 💐. I like to buy fresh flowers whenever I can. Especially if I catch them on sale at Kroger! Omg! They just brighten my mood. 7- I like to meditate. I started meditating back in October/ November but consistently have been doing it daily for the past 3 weeks or so and it’s such a help! I do it early in the morning and at night. It helps me to relax and slow my thoughts down. I’m still a beginner so my thoughts do wonder but like they say on the headspace app, it’s normal. I also just purchased a Chakra bracelet to aid me in getting myself together inside out. I’m just looking for the oils for it. I think that’ll help in my meditating process. 8- I’m a die hard LeBron James fan! Yes yes yes! I’m one of those people who just follow LeBron! 🤷🏽‍♀️ Judge me if you must, but I just love the guy! He’s very talented and conscious about culture things which I love. He’s just a great guy to me. 9- I have a side business. I started a side business last year called Hello, Organization LLC. It’s a business in which I desire to help small businesses (or larger businesses) become organized. This could be doing their paper work, assisting in booking appts, or anything that’s too tedious for the owner to do. I’ve had several clients and I love it. I did put it down for a while to focus on school but it will be revamped this year for sure! 10- I love listening to podcast! I had deleted the app off of my phone in one of those desperate times to makes space on my old phone. But one day I ended up adding it back after a conversation & I hadn’t looked back since! Some of my favs are : The Casey Crew, The Breakfast Club, Lip Service, Dear Sugars, On 1 with Angela Rye, Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me, TED Talks, & many NPR shows. 11- I love to cook! I don’t do it as nearly as much as I would like, but when I do I love it. I get all prepped and organized and just go in. I usually listen to podcast or watch a show while doing it and it just calms me and I love it. I learned a lot of new techniques from my guy and from Pinterest. 12- I love summer time. Even tho it’s usually hella hot, I’d rather that than being cold! It’s easier to cool off than warm up!! Plus when it’s hot I can wear shorts and tank tops and things of that such but when it’s cold I have to put so many clothes on! Ugh! “Hated it!” Lol 13- I am obsessed with the sky. Planets, the moon, the stars, chemtrials 👀... all of it. I really enjoy talking about it also. I’ve been looking more into the flat earth conspiracy and maaaan! So interesting. 14- I was in choir from 6th grade to 10th grade. After I became pregnant and my choir teacher rubbed me the wrong way (not literally but something he said in class) I lost interest. I still have my choir dresses from both middle school and high school in storage lol 15- this is one of my favorite numbers. When I played AAU basketball when I was younger my number was 15. That was the first & only team I was on. 🏀 I felt attached to the number ever since then. 16- I’m kind of a hermit lol. I like being a lone a lot. So much so my friends initially thought it was unhealthy and sometimes it can be. But when I’m alone, I think better. I usually let that special person in my life in and I’ll just rather spend my time with them. But since I’m without that special person currently, it’s just me myself and I! Well! Those are 16 things about me! I tried not to give things that I’ve talked about on the blog already but if I did my apologies! I was just going off the dome lol.
